Roderick A. Rose, M.S.
Evaluation Director
Roderick A. Rose is Evaluation Director for the School Success Profile in the Jordan Institute for Families, School of Social Work, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently leads the evaluation team on the W.T. Grant Foundation-funded evalution of the School Success Profile-Intervention Package. He is co-author of the SSP-IP Intervention Planning Manual (with Gary Bowen) and The Reliability and Validity of the School Success Profile (with Gary Bowen and Natasha Bowen, in press) as well as several scholarly journal articles.
Roderick is skilled in advanced econometric methods and statistical computing applications. He specializes in research methods for intervention and human services evaluation, with areas of interest and expertise in missing data imputation
interactions and hierarchical linear modeling. He earned his Master of Science in Economics at UNC-Chapel Hill in August 2000, with concentrations in public and industrial economics and economic history.
In addition to his service as a member of the SSP team, he serves as a
statistical consultant to the School of Social Work, and analyst on the
Developmental Disabilities Training Institute and Latino Biculturalism projects.
